I’m from Mendoza, Argentina. My journey as an athlete has taught me that becoming stronger is not only about training your body, it is also about training your mind.
While training for a race, I started having severe pain in my leg. Soon after, I was diagnosed with a bone tumor and needed surgery. During my recovery, I developed a serious bone infection and nearly lost my leg. I had to stop walking again and start rehabilitation from the beginning.
It taught me the true meaning of mental strength and resilience. I learned to focus on what I could control, take things one step at a time, and keep moving forward.
Today, I continue doing what I love. I’m a trail runner, a trail runner coach and a triathlete. Sport is a big part of my life and who I’m.
These experiences shape the way I work with athletes today. The mental training I teach comes from both science and my own experience as an athlete.
